Super Slab update: 12/29 by Sharon Croghan |
| In short: Prairie Falcon Parkway Express’s web site has been taken down – presently the name prairiefalconparkwayexpress.com is for sale, if anyone is interested in owning a web site with that name… Ray Wells’ bio is no longer on the RSWellsllc.com web site, his own company, certainly not too surprising, as Wells is over 70 yrs old. None the less, you would think there would be some mention of the company name sake and what he is up to. PFPE is still a company in good standing with the Colorado Secretary of State, no changes in ownership have been filed. On Dec 17, 2007 Weld Cnty Commissioners approved moving forward with plans to develop regulation for private toll roads in Weld County. Planners approved the regulations on Dec. 18 th 2007. Three hearings will be scheduled to hear public comment on the regulations. Once these dates are available I will forward them along. Please plan to attend one of these meetings to express your support for these regulation, as they offer strong protections for property owners in Weld County, while they don’t hinder the filing to toll road corridors, allowed by CRS, they do require the location of the road and impacts to the county be carefully scrutinized and approved by county commissioners prior to the roads location being determined. Another issue, which is of interest to many in Weld County, Pioneer Communities, the planned 9455 dwelling community, between Hudson and Keenesburg, has requested a zoning change to the land it owns, in order to move forward with development plans. The hearing is scheduled for Jan. 9. If you have concerns or comments about the change of zoning for this development they can be sent to: E-Mail messages sent to an individual Commissioner may not be included in the case file.
