Show Me The Law! As commander-in chief of the military forces of the State, Governor Owens has the power to: "call out the militia to execute the laws, suppress insurrection, or repel invasion." In the case of the U.S.Army and The Nature Conservancy invasion on the communities of South Eastern Colorado, Governor Owens makes no visible attempt to repel such. Show me the law which claims Army's right to invade. Governor Owens has a duty to: " take care that the laws be faithfully executed." In the case of Federal governments demand on Colorado water, he not only failed to enforce Colorado water law "first in time, first in right," he moved alleged endangered species in Nebraska ahead of Colorado citizens. Show me the law which claims ESA's right to take. Is Governor Owens leaving a legacy of allowing private businesses -conjoined with the feds, to encumber, needlessly disturb, damage, and divest the proprietary rights of the people of Colorado? Governor Owens may "require information in writing at any time, under oath, from all officers and managers of State institutions, upon any subject relating to the condition, management and expenses of their respective offices and institutions." In the case of the federal government's demand that National Animal Identification and Premises Identification be implemented, Governor Owens fails to protect the rights and privacy of livestock owners. Show me the law that mandates animal identification! Violations of private property rights have been allowed to become the standard in Colorado. But, we the people of Colorado have the right to stay our ground, and demand from any entity who threatens us, to "Show me the law!"
